Your Weekly Bite Sized Pleasure Tip:
Sing to Yourself to Calm Your Nervous System
Your voice is unique and powerful. At the Women’s Spirit Retreat, we learned from inspiring women like Paola, Theda, and Naomi about how singing can calm your nervous system and connect you to your soul.
Singing to Nature
This morning, I sang to the berries and greens I gathered. Using Karen Drucker’s song, I adapted the words:
“Thank you for this day, mama. Thank you for this day.
Thank you for the greens, mama. Thank you for this day.
Thank you for the berries, mama. Thank you for this day.”
Singing to yourself and nature brings joy and a deep sense of connection.
