Your Weekly Bite Sized Pleasure Tip:

Move Your Body!

Today, I wanted to share a quick tip that has been keeping me warm in this -30° cold snap here in Alberta.

I recently stumbled upon a fantastic song called “Resilient” by Rising Appalachia, which became my theme song a couple of years ago. The lyrics inspired me to move my body, even in the freezing temperatures. Today, I went for a 40-minute cross-country ski, and it made a world of difference.

Remember, as Dr. Henry Lodge and Chris Crowley emphasize in “Younger Next Year,” about 70% of diseases stem from our sedentary lifestyles. So, whether it’s tapping your heels, shaking your body, or hitting the gym, find a way to keep moving. It not only warms you up but also nourishes your vital organs, including the heart, spleen, pancreas, stomach, master glands, and brain.

I’d love to hear what songs or activities keep you moving during this cold spell. Share your tips for staying active. Inside our Sacred Pleasure Path Sisterhood Facebook group! Especially if you’re in Alberta or BC facing this wild weather.

See you next week!
