Your Weekly Bite Sized Pleasure Tip:
Self Massage to Calm & Nourish
Today, I wanted to share a self-care tip that has made a significant difference in my daily life and overall well-being.
Consider incorporating a morning self-massage routine using either coconut oil in the summer or sesame oil in the winter. Not only does this practice release endorphins, dopamine, and oxytocin, making you feel more alive and vital, but it can also reduce the risk of breast cancer through regular breast massage.
Additionally, I’ve found that crossing your arms and giving yourself a hug, whether naked or with bare arms, can help calm the parasympathetic nervous system. It is especially beneficial in moments of stress or anxiety, as it reduces the levels of adrenaline and cortisol in the body.
Whether you’re single or in a relationship, remember that your pleasure matters. Nourishing touch not only benefits your vital organs but also contributes to a happier and more present life.
Feel free to experiment with different oils based on the seasons, such as coconut oil for warmer weather and sesame oil for the winter. I’d love to hear about your experience with this self-care practice and how it positively impacts your day. Let me know in the Sacred Pleasure Path Sisterhood Facebook group!
